Troubleshooting Lightroom Import
Lightroom Doesn’t Appear As a Destination In Cascable Transfer
Cascable Transfer requires at least Adobe Lightroom 6.0 or Adobe Lightroom CC 2015 in order to automatically import into your Lightroom Catalog. If you have an older version installed, you can use the Folder copy destination to copy photos to your Mac, then manually import them into Lightroom.
Cascable Transfer Displays “Communicating with Lightroom…” For a Long time
Cascable Transfer requires the Lightroom is running to communicate with it, and the latest version of the Cascable Transfer Lightroom plug-in. If quitting and relaunching Lightroom doesn’t help, follow these steps:
- Quit Adobe Lightroom.
- If the copy configuration dialog is showing in Cascable Transfer, click Cancel to close it.
- In Cascable Transfer, choose Preferences… from the Cascable Transfer menu, and navigate to the Advanced section.
- In the Lightroom Plug-In section, click the Remove button to uninstall the plug-in.
- Return to Cascable Transfer’s main window and click Copy… to start again. Cascable Transfer will walk you through the Lightroom plug-in setup process.
